• Thoroughly analyze and review the SRD (System Requirements Document).
• Primary responsible to create the system test-specification document and test-plan according the product-, customer-, quality- and legal-requirements.
• Develop and program automated test applications (e.g. LabView or CANoe) and systems for validation testing (hardware in the loop and long-term environmental testing)
• Design and build setups for load and vehicle simulation and measurements.
• Meet the project timing and delivery milestones
• Support the software development with regression testing during the software development phase.
• Meet the SW quality requirements and follow the V-Process
• Support product benchmarks
• Communicate with an international and interdisciplinary engineering and project team to review and understand the project and product requirements as well as the local environmental test team
• Technical education in electronics / mechatronics / or equivalent qualification
• Basic knowledge of microcontroller systems and electronic
• LabView programming skills
• Good understanding of electronic systems and circuits
• Good English communication skills
• Good knowledge of Microsoft office
Preferred:
• Professional experience in the automotive business and / or as validation engineer
• Programming (e.g. Python, C, C++)
• Knowledge of vehicle networks like CAN and LIN
• Experience with dSpace products
• Experience with following Tools:
• Vector CANoe / CANdela / CANalyzer
• IBM Rational Team Center (RTC)
• IBM DOORS
• Matlab / Simulink
• Basic understanding of mechatronic actuators (Stepper-Motors, DC-Motors)
• Experience in the automotive business
